The Folk Collaborative is a place that transports your soul to a time when life moved a little slower, we lived off the wisdom of the land, and shared our experiences with community. Our love for Appalachia and the desire to create a more connected experience with locals and visitors alike drive all that we do. Our products are grown and handmade right here at The Folk Collaborative, from recipes and formulations passed down by generations of our family. And if we didn’t make it, we know the local farmer or artisan who did. Whether you’re picnicking in the orchard, devouring a fried pie or trying one of our hand-crafted apothecary products, we’re happy to share our small slice of heaven nestled on a hillside down a little country road.

Community-driven experiences
We’re deeply rooted in our community and are inspired to collaborate with other local makers and artisans to help keep the traditions of Appalachia alive. Connect with some cool Folk and learn a new skill by joining us for one of our classes throughout the year.
Locally grown, locally made
98% of our products are harvested and handmade in small batches right here at The Folk Collaborative. We use recipes passed down from Mamaw or those we’ve created ourselves from years of studying and living off this beautiful land.
Pure and simple
We’re old school and believe in a simpler way of life. Sit by the fire, have a cup of tea, shop a bit and swap stories with us. We’re pretty sure when you leave you’ll have a smile on your face, a spring in your step, and likely a craving for something from Mae’s kitchen.
