Experience the magic of our apple orchard

The Folk Collaborative is a working apple orchard, but our land is too magical not to share. Springtime brings forth apple blossoms and the vibrant palettes of green that cover the mountainsides, while acres of wildflowers at the edge of the orchard come to life and carpet the hillside in color during the Summer. By the time late July rolls around we see the first of our apples, but U-Pick season officially begins the first week of September and lasts throughout the changing of the leaves into late October. Whether you visit in spring, summer or fall, the beauty of our orchard abounds and epic photo opportunities are at every turn.

There are so many ways to experience our apple orchard, so step away from the crowds and find yourself on a hillside below a little country church that overlooks the Cohutta mountains. We live life a little slower here. We invite you to enjoy a bit of that slower pace with us.

There is truly no greater satisfaction than connecting with the land and harvesting your own food – not to mention all the delicious bounty you’ll enjoy for weeks to come. So, unplug, slow down, and spend some time in our orchard picking your own delicious apples. We provide a map and the baskets, and you explore the land. While you’re here, take a tractor ride and a farm tour, too. Appalachia knows how to do fall, y’all, and this little orchard does not disappoint!

No reservations needed, but cut-off time for entry is 3:30pm.
Our U-Pick dates will be posted in July 2023. In general, U-Pick season runs August through end of October (thereabouts).
